  American Sniper - courage or cowardice?

  the movie american sniper is breaking box office records and of course there is some irony that a movie about a sniper is released on martin luther king day (who was shot by one).. but of course there is a world of difference between an assassin and a military sniper ... or is there?.

  some are making a big stink about it and claiming that "snipers are cowards".

  it seems unfair to me.

  They have a saying:"All is fair in love and war" which in the big picture seems to be true. Hopefully one day we will adopt better means and ways to solve conflicts that match up with our increased technology.

  I was drawn into the PTSD that was being portrayed in the flick and could relate to it as my father suffered from violent out burst which no doubt was caused by PTSD when I was growing up. Anyway I wish they had spent more time with recovery of the PTSD in the film. War is a last resort option in my mind and all other means should be exhausted before using this option to solve issues. I think the possibility or potential is there but we will have to just wait and see but perhaps not in our lifetime but who knows.

  I feel sorry for all these dupes who have been manipulated by the WT corporation to work for free and when they get old (according to the 'Vow of Poverty' that they are required to sign) have no pension and will be thrown to the curb as no longer useful or profitable to the slave driving Corporation to fend for themselves in poverty. 

  They maybe dancing and acting like clowns now but in 20 or 30 years they will be singing the blues with out a nickle in their pockets and still waiting for the no show 1000 year reign of Christ.

  They really need to take more seriously the finacial trouble the GB have gotten the Corporation in with all these child molestation lawsuits pay out and the general ineptitude of the GB CEOs to steer this Corporation to profitablity leading to a1000 man lay off for all the old timers at bethel and the forced retirement of over the hill Circuit Overseers that are forced to receive hand outs and rely on the charity of the Jws in their locality.

  It sorta reminds me of the illustration of what I used to hear in public talks at the Kingdom Hall about getting better accommodations on the Titanic as it was sinking to the bottom of the sea.

  On second thoughts I didn't see any sister wearing spanx or brothers with tight ball hugging pants so I think Anthony Morris' depressing and disgusted sock puppet Jehovah is OK with the video, as long as there are no cheap plastic warrior wizards that they are playing with I'm sure Jehovah not even sad either.

  received revealing "witness" in parking lot

  a few weeks ago i was working out of my home state and was in a grocery store parking lot when i received my first jw witness since leaving jwdom.

  a youngish-looking lady was sitting in an suv parked next to my car and i was about to get in my car to leave.

  she opened the door and asked whether she could give me something to read (had a tract in her hand)..

  As far as older/past JWs being able to defend their beliefs better than today's modern JWs, I think the internet and its instant information and reams of it has a lot to do with the seeming difference. We were just a dumb and delusional as the currant ones but all the information we have access to make the older seem some how smarter and better able to defend their faith.

  i even overheard pioneers discussing about it.

  they call it "creative time counting" (i translated that phrase from a different language so bear with me ;-).

  Nowadays I bring a calculator (passes for an I Pad), and my large notebook, and work on my favored project. It also allows me to lip-read key points to drown out the deliberate preachy syntax of the Ueber-teacher-elderettes in their frequent comments.  

  That is so funny, I hope all the 'friends' catch on! They have such a low quality representation preaching this GB inspired shit from the platform and with this higher education ban it really dumb's down a very simple message of guilt inspired obedience even further to that of mind numbing blather from intellectual idiots. A real snooze fest or better yet do some serious chores while the beat plays on in the backround of conscious awareness and hope none of this bullshit gets in the works of good brain functions/thought memes.

  Yeah their seems to be an under currant among the JWs in Spain it seems Jehovah's Corporation has been ripping them off for contribution for things they latter sell and pocket the money. I hope this attitude spreads like wild fire through out Europe and South America.
